Faculty of Health Sciences
The Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Community Health Sciences offers several graduate programs of public health, epidemiology, gerontology and biostatistics (M.P.H., M.Sc., M.A. and Ph.D.). The academic activities led by the department’s faculty members encompass a broad range of epidemiological research fields, i.e., nutritional, genetic, environmental, perinatal, social and pharmaceutical epidemiology; aging; public mental health; health promotion and data sciences. The faculty members produce impactful work that has been published in high-ranking journals. The department's research has been influential in informing health policy both on national and international levels. The department’s research activities include processing large data sets using state of the art statistical analysis methods and the development of novel tools addressing the concurrent challenging data processing needs. The successful candidate is expected to lead an independent and collaborative research program, attract and supervise master's/Ph.D. students, apply for research funding through competitive grants, publish in high ranked, international peer review journals, and teach both basic and advanced biostatistics and epidemiology and specific field courses.
Faculty of Health Sciences
50% position: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Teacher / Senior Teacher We are searching for candidates for a lecturer / senior lecturer or Teacher / Senior teacher. Teaching duties include planning and developing courses and instructing and examining students in all programs and clinical practices. Teachers should constantly update their knowledge of the general field of paramedicine and subject-specific development and transmit this knowledge to the students. Research duties include initiating and pursuing research relevant to the Paramedic profession and publishing in leading journals while cooperating with others researchers from the national and international community. Faculty of Health Sciences
The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a tenure-track position (Lecturer, Senior lecturer, Associate Professor). . Job requirements: The candidate is expected to establish and develop an externally funded research laboratory in the Department of Physical Therapy at Ben-Gurion University, and gain international recognition for the impact of their research and publications. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Physical Therapy, advising B.PT., MSc.PT., M.PT., and Ph.D. students, and providing service to the department and the university community. The Department of Occupational Therapy at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking candidates for two part-time tenure-track faculty position. The position will become vacant on October 1st, 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership in teaching and research. Teaching duties include planning and developing professional courses in Occupational Therapy in clinical practice and developing professional identity in the following fields: • Rehabilitation of the youngest at risk, substance use disorder, and Sensory processing as a risk factor in various health conditions. • Pediatrics, developmental disabilities (e.g., learning disability, ADHD, autism, DCD). The teacher should be familiar with updated intervention programs and relevant evaluations. The teachers should constantly update their knowledge and development and transmit this knowledge to the students. Research duties will focus on Occupational Therapy with the abovementioned populations. Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management
<p>The Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management (GGFBM) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev invites applicants of all ranks for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Management. We are looking for candidates with outstanding research achievements or potential in either: 1) Entrepreneurship, preferably with a quantitative approach, or 2) Any business administration core research field (Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Accounting, OB/HR) but with a strong research emphasis on state-of-the-art tools of data analytics, such as deep learning, generative AI, predictive AI, or similar. The Interdisciplinary Unit
The School of Brain Sciences and Cognition and the Dept. of Physiology and Cell Biology at Ben Gurion have a vigorous and fast-growing program in neuroscience. The School of Brain Sciences and Cognition constitutes more than 80 researchers in all fields of brain and cognitive sciences from more than 15 academic departments and is home to both undergraduate and graduate degrees encapsulating a student body of several hundreds. The Faculty in the Dept. of Physiology and Cell Biology lead research in diverse disciplines of neuroscience including systems, stem cell metabolic, and neurodegenerative aspects of neurobiology. We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a tenure-track position, to expand our community of researchers and interdisciplinary scholars. For the position published here, we look for a candidate interested in any aspect of systems neuroscience. This includes but is not limited to, mammalian or non-mammalian sensory processing, memory and learning, motor control, emotional processing, social behavior, pain, sleep and circadian rhythms, neuroplasticity, and any other system neuroscience-related research.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences
